recipe – steam fresh prawns with brandy

another easy bitsy recipe.

  • fresh prawns ( must be fresh in order to taste good)
  • salt
  • sesame oil
  • brandy

for the dipping to go with it:

  • light soya suace
  • blended ginger and shallots (just a little bit to get the taste)
  • sesame oil

ok, first, use a pot, or wok, pour in some water and put it to boil. after clean the prawns, cut a way the ” moustache”  put in a plate, and sprinkle some salt on the prawns. ( note: when the prawns is cooked, there will be some soup produced. please use a plate that deep enough to hold the soup)

see water boiling in the wok? put in the plate with prawns to steam, do not open the wok cover during the process. steam it for about 5 to 8 minutes. when the prawns are cooked, take it out, dazzle some sesame oil as well as some brandy on the prawn and it’s ready to be served.

come to the dipping, just add in all the ingredients.

pretty easy huh.. try it, you will like it if you love prawns, as you can taste the sweetness of the prawns..
